my brain test result
i played a brain test game about a year ago. test is actually a computer game but i found it quite interesting. anyway, the test said that (although i'm left handed and it is said that left-handed people are using their right side of their brain mostly) iam somewhat left-hemisphere dominant. is it? am I? i'm not sure. it's kinda intriguing. one thing for sure, is thatit will take more than just computer game and common belief to know which hemisphere is dominant. it will take an EEG, probably, to read the brain wave activity and then decide which one is dominant.
"your left-hemisphere dominance implies that your learning style is organized and structured, detail oriented and logical." (that is quite true, you know!) i am somewhat organized, structured, a bit of detail oriented and most ofall i am logical! well, most of the time. i can't really remember if i ever not being logical.
it is said that i might suffer from a feeling of continually trying to "catch up" with myself. am i? how can't i remember all of this thing? or do i just choose not to remember all of this time?
lastly in the test result it said that i have the mentality that would be good as a scientist, coach, athlete, design consultant or an engineering technician. i can "see where i want to go" and even be able to "tell myself", but find that i am "fighting myself" at the darnest times. well, i cannot say it's wrong or right, but yeah, sometimes i feel that i can see where i want to go (don't we all?!) and tell myself to go, but engineering technician?! huh, it seems far from where i am now! i don't think i ever thought of that before.
it's just computer game. whichever hemisphere i'm dominant at, it doesn't mean anything if i don't use that hemisphere as best as and as good as i can or if i waste it and even try to damage it. dominant hemisphere is decided by-among many things-habit, how we brought up, environment around us and of course exercise (i mean brain exercise!).
like gandhi once said," be the change you want to see in the world." so whatever your dominant hemisphere is, use it as good as possible.
one more thing: "you tend to do most things in moderation, but not always." this is so not me! on the contrary, i tend to do most things at best! i tend to be perfectionist, though not always. i have high standards on things thati've done or worked. that's why i need more times on several things to complete. exactly because i tend to do it perfectly and not moderately.
