going somewhere....
suddenly it occurs to me on a rusty old bus, on the way to the hospital: how does it feel to be somebody who never leaves the comfort of home his entire life?
does he feel complete? does he feel that he's gone through everything in his life?

I don't know how it feels to be someone who never leaves the comfort of home. But the thought of leaving the comfort is terrifying. That's why most of us choose to stay.
